Indonesian U-23 National Team has qualified for the Final Round of the U-23 Asian Cup

The Indonesian U-23 national team successfully advanced to the final round of the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup. For the Garuda Muda Team, this achievement was historic, because it was the first time competing in this tournament.

The Indonesian U-23 National Team created by Shin Tae-yong performed impressively in the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup Qualification. Being in Group K, the Indonesian U-23 National Team successfully swept to victory.

In the first match, Marselino Ferdinan et al. managed to beat Chinese Taipei U-23 with a score of 9-0 at Manahan Stadium, Solo, 9 September 2023.

Most recently, the U-23 Indonesian National Team also achieved positive results when they clashed with Turkmenistan. Playing at Manahan Stadium, Tuesday (12/9/2023) evening WIB, the Garuda Muda Team won 2-0.
Thanks to this result, the U-23 Indonesian National Team advanced to the final round of the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup with the status of Group K champions. The Red-White Team managed to gain six points from two matches.

However, it is still unknown what potential opponents the Indonesian U-23 National Team will face in the 2024 Qatar U-23 Asian Cup.

Advancing to the final round of the event, the Garuda Muda Team made history. Since the U-23 Asian Cup was held in 2013, the Indonesian U-23 National Team has never once qualified for the finals, and the 2024 edition will be the first time.
